A Modern Classic of Cardistry and Casino LoreThe Brown Wynn Casino Icon deck is widely considered one of the holy grails of modern casino playing card collecting. Originally printed in 2007 exclusively for the Wynn Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas, these decks were intended for table play but eventually took the magic and cardistry worlds by storm.

While most standard casino cards feature edge-to-edge diamond backs, the "Icon" series stands out with a minimalist, solid color back, a clean white border, and the signature mirrored Wynn "W" logo. Among the Icon releases (which included red and violet/blue), the Brown colorway is recognized as the rarest.

What truly cemented the legacy of the Brown Wynns was their entry into the secondary market. After being retired by the casino, uncancelled overstock was famously acquired and marketed by the magic company Theory11. Magicians and flourishers quickly discovered that these decks, printed in the legendary, now-closed United States Playing Card Company (USPCC) factory in Cincinnati, Ohio -possessed extraordinary handling capabilities. Thanks to their premium Bee casino stock, durable cambric finish, and exact snap, many specialists have compared their handling to the legendary Jerry's Nugget playing cards.
