The Cardistry Staple That Rivaled Jerry's Nuggets If the Brown Wynns are the holy grail of the Wynn casino line, the Red Wynn Casino "Icon" deck is the legendary workhorse that helped build modern cardistry.

Originally manufactured in 2007 for the Wynn Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, these uncancelled, non-drilled overstock decks found a second life when they were introduced to the magic and flourishing communities. While the Brown Wynns were famously distributed by Theory11, the Red and Blue Icon decks were acquired and popularized by cardistry pioneers Dan and Dave Buck in late 2007. They marketed the cards as an affordable but highly comparable alternative to the infamous (and wildly expensive) Jerry's Nugget playing cards.

Like the rest of the "Icon" series, the Red Wynns discarded the traditional edge-to-edge casino diamond back in favor of a clean, solid red back, a crisp white border, and the minimalist Wynn "W" floral logo. What made them legendary, however, was their feel. Printed at the now-closed United States Playing Card Company (USPCC) factory in Cincinnati, Ohio, they possess a unique stiffness, exceptional snap, and a smooth cambric finish that modern presses struggle to replicate. Note for Collectors: While the Brown Wynns were printed with a Jumbo Index, the most desirable Red and Blue Wynns feature a Standard Index, making them highly preferred by magicians and flourishers for visual balance.
